Companies that are entitled to sell EKOenergy-labelled energy

EKOenergy can only be sold by companies that have signed the EKOenergy Licence Agreement.

• Here you can find a list of licensed energy companies (PDF document). These companies sell energy to households, municipalities and companies in the markets where they operate.
• Here you can find a list of licensed energy service providers and sustainability consultants (PDF document). These organisations work mostly with large companies, generally working with unbundled sales of EACs. Many of these licensed energy service providers and sustainability consultants are able to help energy consumers worldwide.

If your current supplier is not yet on our list of licensed sellers, please encourage them to start selling EKOenergy ecolabelled energy. We are always looking for new sellers to take on our ecolabel and are happy to explain to them how to do it.

Also note that EKOenergy is a label for energy, not for energy companies. Almost all of our licensees sell only a part of their volumes with the EKOenergy ecolabel. So make sure you don’t only choose the right seller but also that you choose an EKOenergy ecolabelled product i.e. energy that meets our environmental sustainability criteria.
